ITAR-Compliant Precious Metal Recovery and Secure Destruction

Noble Metal Services is a trusted supply-chain partner to the aerospace and military defense industries by providing secure material destruction and full closed-loop precious metal recovery. Operating from our state-of-the-art facility in Cranston, Rhode Island, we maintain consistent 100% supplier ratings from our customers across a variety of metrics including quality, reliability, compliance, and on-time delivery.

Aerospace and defense production environments generate high-value, sensitive scrap including machined parts, plating residues, thin film deposition materials and semiconductor wafers built into mission systems. For example, sputter targets, evaporation crucibles, vacuum chamber shields, and PVD residues all contain recoverable gold, silver and platinum group metals that should not be categorized as waste and should never be released to an uncontrolled vendor.

Additionally, we understand the importance of confidentiality and the significance of protecting your Intellectual Property (IP) such as proprietary alloys, classified geometries, ITAR-controlled patterns, and components whose shape, composition, or function discloses sensitive intellectual property.

Our team operates under strict ITAR compliance protocols and supports customers governed by AS9003, NIST, and DFARS flow-down requirements. All certified destruction is performed onsite at our Cranston, Rhode Island facility under controlled access and recorded surveillance. Documentation packages (including Certificates of Destruction, weight tickets and settlement information) are available for every lot to support audit, traceability, and disposition records.

Beyond destruction, Noble closes the loop. Refined precious metals recovered from your scrap can be returned to your supply chain as high-purity raw stock, credited against future material purchases, or settled via bank account transfer or ACH.

Our Capabilities Include:

  • 100% certified destruction of ITAR-regulated parts, prototypes, tooling, proprietary patterns, and classified or controlled hardware
  • Precious metal recovery from production scrap
  • Reclamation of thin film deposition scrap
  • Secure handling of scrap metals that are confidential
  • Formal Certificates of Destruction
  • Closed-loop: we can return refined metal to your supply chain, apply an account credit, or settle via bank transfer.
  • Processing performed in an environmentally advanced facility focused on sustainability and worker safety.
